Wayne Romminger

Wayne has been in the print industry since the late 70s completing a printing apprenticeship in Wellington before spending 17 years in the UK. The UK from 1985 to 2002 was an exciting time as Operations Manager of a large group buying and merging printing businesses in all sectors - Packaging, Labels, Commercial & POS.

Returning to N.Z after 911 with a young family Wayne couldn’t stay out of print and joined McCollams Print as GM. After a long stint in commercial print with one of the country’s leading quality printers Wayne returned to Carton Packaging where his print journey started and is currently A.N.Z Operations Director for Graphic Packaging International. Wayne gets his biggest kick out of training and mentoring apprentices, trainees and aspiring plant managers.

He still writes PRINTER in the ‘occupation’ space on the arrivals card as he travels every month between Aust and NZ.
